Description

A lily pad is a flat leaf that floats on the surface of water. It lets players walk on top of water one block at a time and it is often used as decoration on ponds and lakes to make them look natural. You can plant lily pads on calm water and they will stay in place. They do not create a solid surface for walking like a bridge but they can be stepped on and used to cross narrow stretches of water. They are small and decorative so they work well in gardens, swamps and in natural looking pools. They are simple to gather by breaking them and you can place them wherever there is a water block at the surface. They are a neat touch for outdoor builds and they add realism to ponds and riverbanks.
