Builders use granite in a variety of projects where a natural stone look is desired but with a little extra colour. It works nicely in floors walls and as trim around windows and doorways. The block polishes up well when cut into slabs and stairs and it brings a more natural feel than smooth bricks while still giving a clean finished look. In survival you can mine granite and then craft slabs stairs and walls for building projects. Because it is abundant it is a versatile material for middle game builds where both function and looks are needed. It blends well with wood and darker stone materials so it is often used as an accent colour rather than the main building material.

How to get Granite
Mine granite with a pickaxe to collect the block. Once you have granite you can craft slabs stairs and walls to match your building plan. Use a silk touch pickaxe if you want to move the exact block without changing it.
