Description

It has a vibrant red surface that helps create the unique crimson forest biome. Players can use crimson nylium to grow crimson fungus and other nether vegetation when the conditions are right. If you place crimson fungus on crimson nylium and apply bone meal or use natural growth conditions you can grow large crimson fungi. This makes nylium an important block for players who want to set up nether farms or build organic nether inspired landscapes. The block is moderately soft and can be harvested with a shovel making it easy to move and plant elsewhere. It does not burn or spread like ordinary soil and is tied to nether specific mechanics so it will not function like overworld grass blocks. Crimson nylium also interacts with nearby blocks to create natural looking floors and can be used in landscaping around nether bases and paths.
