Description

A crimson slab is a half height building block crafted from crimson planks that helps builders create smooth transitions and layered floor designs while using the nether wood palette. The slab has the same texture and color as crimson planks but occupies only half the height of a normal block so you can use it to create steps low walls tiered flooring and decorative trim. Slabs are very useful for reducing material cost while maintaining style and they allow more control over shape and space in builds. Because slabs take up less vertical room they are handy for interior levels low seating platforms and for gradual walkways that do not require full steps. The crimson slab works well with full blocks stairs and fences to make coordinated surfaces and trim that match the crimson theme. It is crafted from planks on a crafting grid and can be stacked in world to form full blocks when two slabs occupy the same space. The block is durable enough for normal building tasks and it responds to tools like other wooden blocks making it simple to harvest and move around. In decorative builds players use slabs to create detailed roofs window sills and layered decorations that add visual complexity without heavy resource cost. Slabs are also popular on servers because they allow fine grain control over space so players can make custom furniture and low profile builds that look natural and fit the nether aesthetic.
