Description
An iron trapdoor is a flat metal hatch you place on the floor or ceiling to allow or block passage. It looks like a metal panel and behaves differently from wooden trapdoors because it cannot be opened by hand in survival. Instead it requires a redstone signal to toggle open and closed. This makes iron trapdoors useful for secure entrances, hidden passages and puzzle mechanisms where you want precise control over when players or mobs can pass.
