Description
Jungle wood is the solid log block taken from jungle trees and it is the source of jungle planks and many other wooden items. The block shows the round rings on the cut face and the vertical grain on the sides that gives it a bright tropical look. Jungle wood is useful for building tall tree houses and for making pillars, bridges and support beams that fit a jungle theme. Players can harvest jungle wood from large trees and then craft it into planks to make doors, signs and furniture. In some game versions players can strip the bark with an axe to get a stripped wood look which is useful for clean modern builds while still keeping the jungle wood colour. Because jungle trees can be very tall you can harvest a lot of wood from just a few saplings once they mature which makes it a good renewable source for big projects. Jungle wood brings a distinctive warm tone to any build and is widely used in tropical and island themed designs.

Where to find Jungle Wood
Find jungle wood in the jungle biome where tall jungle trees grow with dense canopies. The logs form the trunks of the tree and appear in large clusters on the ground where trees stand. Jungle wood is common in those biomes and players harvest it by chopping the tree trunks.
How to get Jungle Wood
Chop down jungle trees using an axe to collect jungle wood blocks. Use the logs in the crafting grid to make planks. In creative mode choose jungle wood from the inventory or use the give command to add it directly to your stock for building.
