What Is Brain Coral in Minecraft?

Brain Coral is a pink, ruffled coral plant that grows on the seafloor of warm ocean biomes. It has a distinctive brain-like shape with wavy folds.

How Does Brain Coral Work?

It must be kept in water to stay alive. Remove it from water and it quickly turns into grey Dead Brain Coral.
A Silk Touch hoe (or any Silk Touch tool) is needed to collect it alive - breaking without Silk Touch destroys it.
It can only be placed on solid blocks underwater.
