What Is Horn Coral Block in Minecraft?

Horn Coral Block is a solid yellow block made of compacted horn coral. It is found naturally in Warm Ocean biomes. Like all coral blocks, it must be kept adjacent to water or it dries out and turns into a grey Dead Horn Coral Block.

How Does Horn Coral Block Work?

  • Must be adjacent to water to stay alive. It dies and turns grey if it dries out.
  • Use a pickaxe with Silk Touch to collect it intact. Breaking without Silk Touch drops nothing.
  • Full solid block - can be placed as a building material.
