What Is Mud in Minecraft?

Mud is a wet, dark block found in mangrove swamp biomes. Using a Water Bottle on a Dirt block also creates Mud. Mud makes a squelching sound when walked on and slightly slows players and mobs. It can be dried into Packed Mud by placing Pointed Dripstone underneath with a water source above.
