What Is Pointed Dripstone in Minecraft?

Pointed Dripstone forms stalactites (hanging from ceilings) and stalagmites (growing from floors) in Dripstone Caves. Stalactites drip water or lava into a Cauldron placed below them over time, slowly filling it. A falling stalactite deals damage to mobs and players it lands on. Stalagmites deal damage to anything that falls onto them.
