What Is Sculk Shrieker in Minecraft?

Sculk Shrieker is a block found in the Deep Dark biome that shrieks and increases your warning level when activated. If your warning level reaches 4, it summons a Warden. It can be activated by stepping on it or by a nearby Sculk Sensor detecting a vibration.

How Does Sculk Shrieker Work?

  • Activated by stepping on it or by a triggered Sculk Sensor nearby.
  • Each activation raises your warning level by 1 (shown by hearts darkening).
  • At warning level 4, a Warden is summoned.
  • Warning levels reset after not triggering any Shrieker for 10 minutes.
  • Naturally spawning Shriekers can summon the Warden; player-placed ones cannot.
  • Gives 5 experience when mined without Silk Touch.
