What Is Structure Block in Minecraft?

Structure Block is a special technical block used to save, load and detect structure templates in Minecraft. It is not obtainable in Survival mode and can only be obtained using commands. It is used by map makers, server administrators and builders to copy and paste entire builds.

How Does Structure Block Work?

  • Right-click to open the interface for saving or loading a structure.
  • Save Mode: Select a region and save it as a named structure template.
  • Load Mode: Load a previously saved structure template at a chosen location.
  • Data and Corner modes help define regions and provide technical data.
