What Is Suspicious Gravel in Minecraft?

Suspicious Gravel is a gravel block that contains a hidden item inside. It looks slightly different from regular Gravel. Using a Brush on it slowly uncovers the hidden item. It is found in Cold Ocean Ruins, Trail Ruins and other structure sites. It cannot be moved without breaking and dropping as regular Gravel.

How Does Suspicious Gravel Work?

  • Right-click with a Brush to slowly excavate the hidden item inside.
  • The brushing animation takes a few seconds - do not stop or the progress resets.
  • Breaking it without brushing turns it into regular Gravel with no loot.
  • Cannot be moved with a Piston.
