What Is Tube Coral in Minecraft?

Tube Coral is a blue coral plant that grows in Warm Ocean biomes. It must stay in water to remain alive - if it is placed outside water it turns grey and becomes Dead Tube Coral within a few seconds. It can only be collected alive using a tool with Silk Touch. It adds colour and life to underwater builds and coral reef structures.

  • Must be placed underwater to stay alive. Turns dead within a few seconds out of water.
  • Grows naturally on the floor of Warm Ocean biomes.
  • Use Silk Touch to collect it alive.
