What Is Tube Coral Fan in Minecraft?

Tube Coral Fan is the flat fan-shaped variant of Tube Coral. It grows on the sides and tops of coral blocks in Warm Ocean biomes. Like all live coral it must stay in water or it dies and becomes a grey Dead Tube Coral Fan within a few seconds. It can be collected alive using Silk Touch.

How Does Tube Coral Fan Work?

  • Must be placed adjacent to a water block to stay alive.
  • Turns grey and becomes Dead Tube Coral Fan if removed from water.
  • Use Silk Touch to collect it alive.
  • Can be placed on the floor, walls or tops of underwater blocks.
