What Is Weathered Copper in Minecraft?

Weathered Copper is a Copper block at the third of four oxidation stages. It has a medium green patina. Left unwaxed it will slowly oxidise to Oxidized Copper over time. Scrape it with an Axe to revert it one stage, or wax it with Honeycomb to lock its colour permanently.

How Does Weathered Copper Work?

  • Slowly oxidises to Oxidized Copper over time unless waxed.
  • Scrape with an Axe to revert to Exposed Copper.
  • Apply Honeycomb to lock the colour permanently.
  • Can be crafted into cut, chiseled, and other weathered copper variants.
