What Is Evoker in Minecraft?

The Evoker is a dangerous spellcaster found in Woodland Mansions and leading Raids. It fights from a distance by summoning spiky Evoker Fangs out of the ground and can even call in flying Vexes to swarm you.

What Can Evokers Do in Minecraft?

• Summons up to three Vexes that fly through walls to attack you
• Casts a line of Evoker Fangs that burst from the ground toward its target
• Can cast a spell that turns a nearby Iron Golem hostile toward players
• Is the only mob that drops a Totem of Undying

How to Fight Evokers

• Close the distance quickly so it cannot keep casting Fangs from afar
• Watch the ground for the fang pattern and step out of the way
• Deal with any summoned Vexes first since they can fly straight at you

How to Stay Safe from Evokers

• Avoid Woodland Mansions until you have good armor and weapons
• Do not let a Raid go on too long, Evokers can turn your Iron Golems against you
• A Shield can block Fang damage if timed right
