The Sniffer is an ancient creature brought back after being lost for ages. It digs up seeds that don't grow naturally anywhere else in the world.

What Can Sniffers Do in Minecraft?

• Sniffs the ground to find buried ancient seeds
• Crouches down low and digs up a Torchflower Seed or Pitcher Pod when it finds one
• Wanders slowly around while sniffing for its next spot

How to Breed Sniffers

• Feed two adult Sniffers Torchflower Seeds to breed them
• Breeding produces a Sniffer Egg instead of an instant baby
• A placed egg hatches into a baby Sniffer after about 10 to 20 minutes

Why Keep Sniffers?

• Sniffers are the only way to get Torchflower Seeds and Pitcher Pods
• You first need to find a Sniffer Egg by brushing suspicious sand in Warm Ocean Ruins
