You will need three blocks of yellow wool and three wooden planks of any type. To get yellow wool, you can dye a sheep yellow and then shear it. To get planks, you just need to chop down any tree. Once you have your materials, open a crafting table. Place the three yellow wool blocks in a horizontal row, and place the three wooden planks in the row directly below them. This will create one yellow bed.

The main use for a yellow bed is to sleep and set your spawn point. To use it, you need to place it in a spot with enough space. Then, when it is nighttime or during a thunderstorm, you can right click on the bed to go to sleep. This will fast forward time to the next morning. The first time you sleep in a bed, it will set your respawn point to that location. A fun feature of beds is that you can bounce on them like a trampoline, though it is not as bouncy as a slime block. Be very careful: if you try to use a bed in the Nether or the End dimension, it will explode violently.
