What Is Bamboo Fence in Minecraft?

A Bamboo Fence is a low barrier made from Bamboo Planks and Sticks. Even though it looks only one block tall, its hitbox is 1.5 blocks high - most mobs can't jump over it!

How Does Bamboo Fence Work?

  • It automatically connects to other wooden fences and to solid blocks next to it.
  • Mobs cannot jump over it without a Jump Boost effect.
  • It catches fire easily, so keep it away from lava and open flames.
