What Is Bamboo Sign in Minecraft?

A Bamboo Sign shows up to four lines of writing. It's great for labels, directions or adding personality to your builds.

How Does Bamboo Sign Work?

  • On top of a block, it stands on a small post and can face 16 directions.
  • On the side of a block, it hangs like a wall sign.
  • Mobs and items can walk right through it.
  • Water and lava flow around it without breaking it.
