What Is Brick Slab in Minecraft?

A Brick Slab is a half-height version of the Bricks block. It has the same red-brown brick texture and is great for adding detail to paths, rooftops and buildings without using a full block.

How Does Brick Slab Work?

  • Place it on the bottom half of a block space or the top half to create a step or ledge.
  • Stack two Brick Slabs in the same block to form a full-height Double Brick Slab.
  • A pickaxe is required - breaking without one drops nothing.
  • Not flammable.
