What Is Lever in Minecraft?

Lever is a redstone switch that can be toggled on and off. Unlike a Button which only pulses briefly, a Lever stays in its current state until you flip it again. It can be placed on most solid block faces and is great for controlling doors, lights and machines.

How Does Lever Work?

  • Right-click to toggle on or off - it stays in that state until clicked again.
  • Emits a full redstone signal (strength 15) when switched on.
  • Can be placed on the top, bottom or sides of blocks.
  • Break by hand or with any tool.
