What Is Light Weighted Pressure Plate in Minecraft?

Light Weighted Pressure Plate is a flat gold plate that detects players, mobs and items standing on it. Unlike a regular pressure plate, it outputs a Redstone signal whose strength depends on how many entities are on it - more entities means a stronger signal.

How Does Light Weighted Pressure Plate Work?

  • Outputs a Redstone signal from 1 to 15 based on how many entities are on it.
  • One entity gives a signal of 1, and 15 or more entities gives a signal of 15.
  • Works with players, mobs and dropped items.
  • A pickaxe is required - breaking without one drops nothing.
