What Is Loom in Minecraft?

Loom is a crafting block that lets you add patterns and designs to Banners using Dye and optional Banner Patterns. It is easier to use than the Crafting Table method and shows a preview before you apply the pattern.

How Does Loom Work?

  • Place a Banner, Dye and an optional Banner Pattern item in the Loom slots.
  • Choose a pattern from the menu and apply it to the Banner.
  • The Loom is the job site block for Shepherd villagers.
