What Is Panda in Minecraft?
The Panda is a neutral animal found in jungle biomes, and every one you meet has its own personality, from lazy and playful to aggressive and worried.
What Can Pandas Do in Minecraft?
- Each Panda is born with a personality: Normal, Aggressive, Lazy, Worried, Playful, Weak, or the rare Brown Panda, and you can often tell by how it looks and acts.
- Aggressive Pandas fight back and keep attacking until you leave or die, unlike other Pandas which just bite once when hurt.
- Playful Pandas roll and tumble even as adults, and any Panda can accidentally roll off a cliff while playing.
- Baby Pandas sneeze now and then, which makes nearby adult Pandas jump, and Weak babies sneeze much more often and can even sneeze out a Slimeball.
- Pandas follow players holding Bamboo and whimper during thunderstorms.
How to Breed Pandas
- Feed two Pandas Bamboo near a patch of Bamboo plants to start breeding.
- The baby Panda keeps the same relationship with the player who bred it, staying friendly even if it would normally be Aggressive.
- Bamboo shoots don't count. You need at least one fully grown Bamboo plant nearby for breeding to work.
How to Fight Pandas
- Most Pandas only bite once when hurt and then run off, so backing away after the first hit usually ends the fight.
- Watch out for Aggressive Pandas. They keep attacking until you leave or die, unlike every other personality.
- You can tell an Aggressive Panda apart by its furrowed brow, so check its face before getting close.
