What Is the Deep Dark Biome?
The Deep Dark is a quiet, dangerous biome found deep underground. Dark blue sculk covers the ground, and triggering it too much can wake up something you really don't want to meet.
What You'll Find
- Sculk blocks and sculk veins spreading across the floor and walls
- Sculk sensors and shriekers hidden among the sculk
- The Ancient City, a huge structure built from deepslate and sculk
- Almost total silence, since most mobs can't spawn here naturally
Staying Safe
- Making too much noise near sculk shriekers summons the Warden, one of the most dangerous mobs in the game
- Sneak and avoid stepping on sculk sensors to stay undetected
- If the Warden appears, run instead of fighting; it can't be defeated easily
