What Is Acacia Button in Minecraft?

An Acacia Button is a small button you can press. When you press it, it sends a quick signal to redstone, so it can turn on things like lights, doors and pistons.

How Does Acacia Button Work?

  • Press it once and it stays on for 1.5 seconds, then turns off by itself.
  • You can press it with your hand, or shoot it with an arrow.
  • An arrow keeps the button on until the arrow disappears after 1 minute, or until a player picks the arrow up.
  • Zombies, Creepers and other mobs can't press it with their bodies.
  • While it's on, it sends a strong signal to the redstone next to it.
  • If the block under it is taken away, the button falls off and becomes an item you can pick up.
