It hangs under a wide block, with its chains straight down.
It can also hang under a thin block, like a chain, and then its chains make an up arrow.
You can colour the writing with Dye, and make it glow with a Glow Ink Sac.
You can seal it with Honeycomb, so nobody can change the writing.
If the block it's hanging from is taken away, it falls off and drops as an item.
A sign on a wall doesn't fall off when the wall is taken away.
