What Is Block of Iron in Minecraft?

A Block of Iron is a sturdy, silver-grey block made from nine Iron Ingots. It is a very useful block - not only for storing iron and building, but also for spawning Iron Golems!

How Does Block of Iron Work?

Craft it from 9 Iron Ingots. Break it to get all 9 ingots back.
A stone pickaxe or better is required - wooden pickaxe or bare hands drops nothing.
Not flammable.
Use it (with a carved pumpkin) to build an Iron Golem - your own personal village guardian.
