What Is Blue Candle in Minecraft?

A Blue Candle is a small decorative light source with a blue tint. Up to four candles of the same colour can be placed on one block, and each extra candle adds more light.

How Does Blue Candle Work?

Place up to 4 candles on one block - each one increases the light level.
One lit candle gives light level 3; four candles give light level 12.
Light it with Flint and Steel, a Fire Charge, or any flaming projectile.
Extinguish it by right-clicking or with water.
Waterlogging extinguishes the candle.
Candles placed on a Cake become a birthday cake with a single candle on top!
