What Is Exposed Copper Bulb in Minecraft?

Exposed Copper Bulb is the second oxidation stage of Copper Bulb. It has a light green tint over the copper surface. When powered by Redstone it emits light at a slightly dimmer level than a fresh Copper Bulb, and it toggles on and off with each Redstone pulse.

How Does Exposed Copper Bulb Work?

  • Requires a stone pickaxe or better - a wooden pickaxe drops nothing.
  • Emits light level 12 when powered (dimmer than the unwaxed Copper Bulb at level 15).
  • Toggles on and off with each Redstone pulse - does not stay lit while signal is continuous.
  • Will continue to oxidize unless waxed with a Honeycomb.
