What Is Lantern in Minecraft?

Lantern is a bright iron-framed light source that emits a light level of 15, the same as a Glowstone. It can be placed on top of blocks or hung from the underside of blocks. It gives off a warm orange glow and looks great in underground mines and outdoor lighting.
