What Is the The End Biome?
The End is the last dimension in Minecraft, made of floating islands of end stone surrounded by nothing but darkness. The Ender Dragon lives here, guarding the main island.
What You'll Find
- The main island, where the Ender Dragon first appears
- Outer islands covered in chorus trees, reachable through End Gateways
- End Cities, tall purpur structures guarded by shulkers
- End Ships, which carry the only elytra in the game
Staying Safe
- Falling off an island here means falling into the void, which is instant death
- The Ender Dragon can knock you around with its wings, so watch your footing
- Shulkers can shrink you and knock you off ledges with their projectiles
