What Is Packed Ice in Minecraft?

Packed Ice is a denser, solid form of Ice. Unlike regular Ice it does not melt when placed near a light source, making it useful for permanent icy floors and paths. It is slippery - players and items slide across its surface. Nine Packed Ice can be crafted into one Blue Ice block.
