What Is the Mushroom Fields Biome?
Mushroom Fields is a rare island biome covered in purple mycelium instead of grass. Giant mushrooms grow here instead of trees, and it is the only place mooshrooms spawn naturally.
What You'll Find
- Mycelium covering the ground instead of grass blocks
- Giant red and brown mushrooms towering over the land
- Mooshrooms, a mushroom covered cow that can give you mushroom stew or suspicious stew
- Lush caves hiding underneath the surface
Staying Safe
- No hostile mobs spawn naturally here, making it one of the safest biomes at night
- Mobs can still arrive through spawners, raids, or skeleton horse traps, so don't let your guard down completely
