What Is Green Bed in Minecraft?

Green Bed is a two-block-wide sleeping block with a green colour. Right-clicking it at night lets you sleep to skip to daytime. Sleeping also sets your spawn point so you respawn nearby if you die. In the Nether or End, beds explode if you try to sleep in them.

How Does Green Bed Work?

  • Right-click the bed at night or during a thunderstorm to sleep.
  • Sleeping skips the night and resets your spawn point to that bed.
  • All players on the server must sleep (or use a sleep vote) to skip the night.
  • Beds explode if used in the Nether or the End - do not try it!
