What Is the Beach Biome?

Beaches are narrow strips of sand that line the edge of the ocean. They don't have much plant life, but they are the best place to find turtles and buried treasure.

What You'll Find

Sand stretching along the coast, sitting on top of sandstone
Turtles, which lay eggs in the sand and are the main source of turtle shells
Buried treasure hidden beneath the sand, markable with a treasure map
Shipwrecks occasionally beached right on the shore

Staying Safe

Beaches are flat and open, so mobs can approach from the ocean or the land at night
Shipwrecks can be flooded and dark, so bring a light and watch for drowned
