What Is the Old Growth Spruce Taiga Biome?
The Old Growth Spruce Taiga is similar to the pine variant, but its giant spruce trees keep their leaves wrapped around the trunk all the way down, making them look fuller.
What You'll Find
- Tall 2x2 spruce trees with leaves covering most of the trunk
- Mossy cobblestone boulders and patches of podzol on the ground
- Foxes and wolves roaming through the thick trees
- More mushrooms than most other Overworld biomes
Staying Safe
- No villages or outposts generate here, so plan to bring your own supplies
- Dense trees make it harder to see mobs coming, so light up your camp well
