What Is the Sparse Jungle Biome?
The Sparse Jungle sits on the edge of regular jungles, with far fewer trees and more open grass between them. It feels like a mix between a jungle and a plains biome.
What You'll Find
- Scattered jungle and oak trees with wide open grass between them
- Melon patches growing among the ferns
- Wolves, parrots, and ocelots wandering through the thin tree cover
- Fewer vines and bushes than a regular jungle
Staying Safe
- The open grass means mobs can spawn close to your camp at night
- Keep torches handy since there's less natural shade to shelter under
