What Is the Wooded Badlands Biome?
The Wooded Badlands looks like a regular Badlands, but its flat plateaus are topped with groves of oak trees. It's an unusual sight: desert colored cliffs with patches of forest on top.
What You'll Find
- Oak trees growing in groves on top of the terracotta plateaus
- Striped terracotta and red sand making up the cliffs below
- Extra gold ore, more common here than in most biomes
- Badlands Mineshafts built from dark oak and sometimes exposed to open air
Staying Safe
- Cacti growing in the lower valleys can hurt you if you walk into them
- Mineshafts here can be high up, so watch out for long falls
